Cardboard instead of plastic trays
PaperSkin packaging is an original creation of the R&D department at Koopress: an achievement of which we are tremendously proud. We care about the environment and wish to support our customers in like-minded aspirations. After all, those who purchase their products expect nothing less..
Hence, we offer an alternative to packaging made entirely of plastic. The tray type we have developed consists of a cardboard substrate and a thin barrier film. Our solution reduces plastic content in the packaging by up to 80%. Instead of plastic, we rely on environmentally friendly, certified cardboard (FSC and PEFC) from controlled sources, and corresponding manufacturing technologies. As a result, our trays are more environmentally friendly as we have been able to reduce their carbon footprint to a minimum.
